I got my first dslr (Nikon D70) five years ago. My main reason for getting one is because I got tired of missing shots due to the slow response from my point and shoot camera.
On the first year I tried to shoot a lot, mainly using the auto modes. Then I stopped shooting. I don't know what happened. So my camera sat in the bag for a few years. Then when my son started doing Tae Kwon Do, I decided I would like to capture those moments. It started from there. My passion for photography has started. Thanks to my son and my wife, I discovered what a joy it is to capture each passing moments in our lives.
I realized that I missed a lot of photo opportunities but I can't get back time. All I could is to take full advantage of whatever time we have now.
